Venture Associates
(General Body)

Venture Associates are the foundation and core of the success of Happy Valley Capital. As a venture associate, you are exposed to the startup community and work side-by-side with entrepreneurs to build the next 'big thing'. Venture Associates majors vary vastly from Finance to Computer Science. We believe everyone has new skills and ideas to bring to the table and we want to hear.

If you're interested in joining the Venture Associates, come to our next meeting on Monday, September 16th at 6:30pm-7:30pm at 260 Willard.

How to Join:

  • Venture Associates program runs by attending weekly meetings/events (Monday's at 6:30pm-7:30pm at 260 Willard) which include guest speakers, venture capital educations, networking events, and working directly with startups.

  • Prepare to bring dues ($20 cash or check) to our following meeting on Monday. By paying dues, you will officially be a Venture Associate of Happy Valley Capital and will receive instant access to our Canvas page including: Breaking into Venture Capital Guides, Wall Street Guides, Technical Educations, contact information of HVC's members, and the ability to interview for investment committee at the end of the semester.

  • Join our GroupMe following this link: https://groupme.com/join_group/53381015/UD8psRCJ. You do not need to be a dues paying member to join our professional GroupMe; it is instead for events reminders and anyone interested in venture capital/technology.

Venture Associate Requirements:

After paying dues to become a Venture Associate, we will be hosting exclusive meetings, events, and homework assignments throughout the semester. Venture Associates will be required to reach 12 Credits by the end of the semester to stay active and/or interview for Investment Committee.
